About Penelope

I thrive on helping others navigate life’s challenges through somatic therapy and deep conscious reflection.

Healing touch, sacred intimacy and spiritual guidance have characterized my life for 28 years now, as I’ve explored life through connection with nature, embodiment, sacred experiences, and deep relationships with others. I became a bodyworker in 2014 after learning Thai Massage. I’ve studied under Caffyn Jesse and Corinne Diachuk in the arts of Somatic Sex Education since 2016, with Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent as an acting guide. I apprenticed with animist teacher Angela Prider through 2024. For seven years, I’ve studied the way of the Divine Feminine in Jumana Sophia’s Her Mystery School. I also received training as a Certified Death Doula from DeathWives in 2024.

I walk the medicine path of conscious self-reflection and my goal is to help others do the same.

I have been settled on Vancouver Island for nearly two decades as a mother, artist, somatic sex educator and touch healer. I acknowledge that I live on stolen lands and offer my gratitude to the First Nations who have stewarded this place. I honour the opportunity to walk this middle path of sacred and spiritual intimacy with people from every walk of life.

I hope to bring healing, joy, clarity, and beauty to everyone through my hands, words, wisdom and voice. In addition to my work, I enjoy writing, singing, playing guitar, making art, and camping.

  • A professional designation. Trauma-informed, trained and certified to safely and securely help individuals access deep layers of consent and healing by using body-based techniques to increase their voice and choice.

  • Ongoing student. Comprehensive education in meditation, spiritual guidance, ritual and gender relations.

  • Level II. Certified to provide gentle stretching energetic bodywork in the Thai Style (also known as Thai Yoga Massage).

    Trained by Mia Blackwell of Metta in Motion, Victoria BC.

  • 200RYT. Fitness Educator and Yoga Teacher with an ability to lead individuals and groups in practicing body-based exercises and Hatha Flow Yoga.

    Trained by “Feel Good Yoga” in Victoria BC.

  • Ongoing student. Shamanic tools of breathwork, ritual practice, circle gathering, medicine journeying and spiritual guidance.

  • Bedside care and peer counselling for end-of-life circumstances. Help people come to terms with death and offering natural alternative death care and funeral options. Plan and officiate funeral ceremonies.
