How Sessions Work, In-Person and Online
Our sessions start with an invitation for you to share your current experiences. Together, we will explore ways to support your body, mind, and emotions.
Through reflective discussion and guided meditation, we identify areas of tension, stress, blockage, and overload, which are then released through gentle movement, safe healing touch, breathwork and visualization. Generally, somatic coaching sessions occur in rounds of 3-6 appointments because this is not an instant fix. You need to be present and committed to the work in order to receive its benefits.
In person, you can receive touch from my hands in order to help explore the areas of your body that are holding stories. All touch is client-guided and offered only with your full consent. Combined with breathwork, visualization and discussion, you’ll notice how you are able to release held emotions from your body. Very often, movement is a key component to this release and you’ll find yourself allowing your body to move in unconventional ways.
Online, you will receive self-touch guided by my presence. Along with movement, breathing and releasing, the process of letting go of stored emotions is equally cathartic. As mentioned earlier, online sessions are available across Canada and worldwide to ensure that everyone can access my strategies for profound healing and self-discovery.

Somatic coaching services aren't typically covered by standard health insurance policies. However, I do offer packages with discounts for three or more sessions. This work needs to be undertaken with commitment, so I try to make it affordable to those who want to experience sessions in bundles of three or more. The structure of each session is adjusted to suit you, ensuring you get the most out of our time together.

How many sessions of Somatic Coaching do I need?
Generally clients visit for a minimum of three sessions. Once we have identified the issues that you’re working on, we’ll set up a plan for going forward. After an initial set of three, you may decide to return for another set of three or six sessions. I am happy to work out a package deal with a discount for bundled sessions, whether in person or remote.
